Same Day Sick Visits

We understand that health concerns don’t always follow a schedule—and when our patients aren't feeling their best, compassionate care should be just a call away. That’s why we offer timely sick visits designed to address acute illnesses and urgent health needs:

  • Upper respiratory symptoms: Cough, congestion, sore throat, mild shortness of breath

  • Flu-like symptoms: Fever, chills, body aches, fatigue

  • Gastrointestinal issues: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, mild abdominal pain

  • Urinary symptoms: Burning with urination, increased frequency, urgency (especially for uncomplicated UTIs)

  • Skin concerns: Rashes, insect bites, minor allergic reactions, mild cellulitis

  • Eye issues: Redness, itching, discharge (e.g., conjunctivitis)

  • Ear pain or fullness: Especially in adults or older children

  • Medication refills: For acute conditions previously diagnosed (e.g., antibiotics for sinusitis)

  • COVID-19 or flu screening: Symptom assessment and guidance on testing or isolation

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)

We understand that substance use disorder is a complex and challenging condition that affects not only your health, but also your emotional well-being and relationships. At Kwanza, our approach to treatment is Compassionate and Personalized, recognizing that each individual’s journey is unique.

  • Alcohol Use Disorder— Assessment and treatment including Naltrexone.

  • Opioid Use Disorder— Assessment and treatment including Suboxone.
